TIM at a glance


Technology and Innovation Management:

• The TIM Master’s program has been run since 1997.
• TIM is jointly run by the Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences (FH Brandenburg) and the Brandenburg University of Technology (BTU Cottbus).
• The target group consists of engineers, natural scientists and computer scientists both within and outside Germany.

Final degree:

• master’s (M.Sc.)
• accredited
• joint degree (through the FH Brandenburg and the BTU Cottbus)

Orientation:

• international
• postgraduate

Length of program:

4 semesters (2 years)

Teaching languages:

• German (approx. 50%)
• English (approx. 50%)

Important dates:

• applications: no later than September 30th
• program start: winter semester (the beginning of October the same year)

Locations:

• FHB Brandenburg University of Applied Sciences (1st and 2nd semesters)
• BTU Brandenburg University of Technology, Cottbus (3rd semester)
• The fourth semester (final master thesis) either at the FHB or the BTU

Costs:

No tuition fees are charged in the Federal State of Brandenburg.
